The Israeli Journal is a content website that documents what happens in Israel, day after day. We write about the news and about smaller changes too: those that do not always make the headlines but affect your home, your work and your finances.

What we publish

Articles are organized into thirteen sections, from news and the economy through science, the environment and culture to cars, the home, consumer affairs and law. In each, we try to answer two simple questions: what happened, and what does it mean for the reader?

Our guiding principles

• Clear writing, without unnecessary jargon or alarming headlines.
• Distinguishing between facts, claims made by a particular party and interpretation.
• Care with subjects such as health, money and law, where general information cannot replace a professional.
• Prompt corrections when an error is found.
